A Simple Diagram Created In 1969 Proves Why You Struggle In Business
The following is one of the most compelling pieces of research that proves without a shadow of doubt that most people are trying to achieve the success they want and going about it the wrong way.
This research was conducted by Edgar Dale back in 1969 and to this day is probably the most cutting-edge research to prove my point.
Many people I speak with today think that books and audio programs are going to help them achieve the success they want.
If you examine the following diagram, you will see that reading books and listening to MP3 audio programs are the lowest form of learning.
In fact, Edgar Dale referred to this type of learning as passive learning, and the lowest form of ‘passive’ learning at that.
If you are being fooled into thinking that you are going to achieve success from reading books and listening to MP3 files, I can relate.
For 2.5 years I struggled in business costing me in access of $250,000. Is it any wonder though? With two post graduate degrees I was tricked into thinking that success came through books.
Edgar Dale’s research also showcases the answer to this error of thinking. And it leads to one of our business coaching ‘Speed To Market’ principles:
“You must be close to the source of momentum.”
In today’s world everything is about being able to accelerate your success.
This is why I created a ‘Speed To Market’ system that follows the research of Edgar Dale and allows clients to be close to the source of massive momentum everyday working with a team of A+ Coaches.
Edgar Dale proves that ‘Book/MP3 To Market’ Speed simply does not work. Everything is about ‘Speed To Market’ and positioning yourself close to the source of massive momentum.

Well darn. I do a lot of reading, and therefore am insulted that you think I am retaining only 10%. Just kidding – I am not insulted. But I do read a lot, and sometimes I read an interesting piece of literature – usually a report or a book – multiple times, and it is no wonder that it seems I am reading it fresh each time. So in order to retain 100% just by reading, I will need to read the materials 10 times!
I really don’t have to worry about achieving success from reading books any longer, because I now have Glenn Dietzel as my mentor. Woo Hoo!!

Shawn Miller shared with our GKIC group the importance of movement in video this month. Now I know where he got it. Great pyramid. I’ll have to get a copy of that so I can put my company in instead of yours
same stuff applies to golf. That is why so many people subscribe to Monkey Digest and get hundreds of golf tips every month with no results.

Doesn’t this in a way refute Paul R Scheele’s PhotoReading and Paraliminal auditory learning methods?
