Always Get People to Take Action
When you are developing your marketing materials, it’s very important to get people to take action. Many times, we encourage our potential clients to “think about this” or “consider this”, when what we really need to be doing is getting them to take action, such as writing something down, or picking up the phone to call.
It is easy to ask people to think, but, very often, when you ask people to think, they have just moved away from doing. As I often say, “Writing is the doing part of thinking”- which means I always want you to be taking an action- writing your thoughts, observations, or ideas. I never want you to passively read my blog or watch my videos without taking any action. The reason for this, primarily, is because action is what drives people to invest with you.
I know that if I can get you to write something down, or to actively use my information in any way, I’ve begun the process of building a relationship with you, and this is the first step to our potentially working together in the future. None of this would happen if I couldn’t get you to act.
So in the spirit of this blog post, my challenge for you today is two-fold. First, if you haven’t yet started selling high priced programs, I want you to write down your three top reasons for this. Are you afraid? Confused? Looking for a step by step system? and then I want you to write down what you are going to do, specifically, to address each of these issues. (And if we can help you address these issues, please call us: 519.542.3043)
The second part of the challenge is to have you start viewing your marketing from a new perspective- that of getting your potential clients to take action now. How can you move people to engage with you more rapidly, so you’re not losing any time in building a highly profitable business?
