To grow your business more quickly, you must master the process of building desirability. In this context, building desirability means that you position your company strategically. As you develop your strategic positioning, you want to focus on building desirability as well.

Think about your ideal client. What traits or qualities could you highlight that would make your business even more appealing to them? These are the areas that you want to use to build desirability and credibility.

If you think about the wants of your marketplace, you will note that there are certain key points or ‘triggers’ which will move them to invest. Your job is to identify what those triggers are, and to utilize them in positioning your company as the best possible choice.

So, for example, one of my positioning angles refers to building business momentum- and I know that many of my high level business coaching clients want to work with me because I will help them build their businesses faster. I will tell them exactly what they need to do, how, when, and in what order to create rapid cash flow.

The clients who decide to join my business coaching programs are people who want momentum, and want success. They want to be allied with a company that is fast moving, and making things happen.

The same kind of factors can be put to work in your business, too. If you identify what your clients would see as desirable, and then build a focused and authentic business positioning statement around this, your clients will naturally be interested and attracted to what you’re doing.

And once they are interested, they will tell others like them, and so on- so your business continues to become more attractive and more desirable over time, and so on.
