Are You Ready For Business Coaching?
Sometimes, people call my office and want to enroll in one of my programs, but hesitate about whether it’s the right time for them. What I believe is that there is no time to delay in building your business. If you can be generating rapid cash flow (and you can), why wouldn’t you do this sooner, rather than later?
But anyway, given that people sometimes wonder if they are ready (and because I’m not a fan of overthinking- I believe in taking action right away), I wanted to give you a quick 5 question checklist for determining if you are ready for business coaching.
Create More Value, Make More Money
Question #1: What do I really want?
Do you want a business that is growing and developing and is exciting and profitable? Now, do you really? Sometimes people believe they want this, but, at the same time, they are afraid of being overwhelmed or overloaded by too rapid success. You need to identify if there are any sources of conflict about what you really want. You need to work on resolving the conflict- or just choosing to go for it- because if you don’t make a decision, you’ll stay stuck. And nothing will change.
Question #2: Am I willing to change?
Sometimes, we want the results of a change without wanting to change how we do things. Stated another way, we want to get a certain outcome, but aren’t willing to do what it takes. If you are willing to change, you can change. But if you believe that you don’t need to change, shouldn’t have to change, or won’t change, then you won’t.
Question #3: Is this enough for me?
You need to ask yourself if you’re willing to go for more in your business. If you’re not, then business coaching probably isn’t right for you. But if you believe you are capable of generating bigger results, more money, and want to have a greater impact on the world, you will probably realize that where you are isn’t enough, and that you need to seek out more.
Question #4: How much could I have?
This is a forward-thinking question. It helps you look ahead to what your life could be like. This kind of question can pull you forward, if you make the answer rich and compelling enough. When you look at how much you could have, it may highlight that you’re not that satisfied, after all, with where you are now.
Question #5: What motivates me?
This is a values question. When you understand the “Why” of what you want to do- you are much more willing to attempt the How. For me, for instance, a huge motivation is my family. They help me step out bigger, play bigger, and take steps forward even when I’m afraid. Remember, fear doesn’t ever go away. You just realize it’s there and do what you have to do anyway.
So, as you read these questions and think through your answers, understand if you’re ready for high level business coaching. If you are, you know how to reach me- and if you’re not, yet, use your answers to these five questions to help you get ready to move to the next level.
You’ve got a much bigger, brighter, and better business waiting for you when you’re ready.
