Business Coaching Training–Journey With Me Up Whistler Mountain
I just came back from speaking in Vancouver and I spent a day at Whistler Mountain where the 2010 Winter Olympics will be held.
Below you can watch some breathtaking video of my journey up the Whistler Gondola. As well you can watch me and a crazy group of Internet marketers make an amazing journey across the highest gondola ride in the world which connects two mountain peaks above the valley below: Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains. (If you are scared of heights, you might want to look away.)
While I was journeying up the twenty minute treck on three stages of the gondola ride to reach the base of the peak of Whistler Mountain, I was posed an interesting question by one of the people in my gondola.
“Glenn, how will I know when I will have the assurance that I can succeed as an entrepreneur and accomplish what I have set out to do?”
It was certainly an interesting question as I was caught up in the beauty of the moment that I was beholding and as you will witness too. It was also a very fitting question given that next winter many men and women will leave their legacy on this mountain at the 2010 Winter Olympic Games.
“How can you be certain that you will indeed be successful as an entrepreneur—where you have successfully created a unique category within a defined niche market and have
created the highest level of credibility to sell the most expensive programs in your niche?”
Well here is what I told this savvy entrepreneur.
Why do I call him savvy? Because most entrepreneurs I find do not know how to ask the proper questions to focus their thinking properly. Their lack of focus leads to an inability to execute.
And lack of focus is much more insidious than most people realize.
“Why, Glenn?” you are probably asking yourself right now.
Because lack of focus actually leads to ‘over-thinking’.
Here is what I told this entrepreneur and I will quote myself directly.
I told him the answer to his question was when he could say, “I never want to do that again.”
It’s a simple statement but it reflects the simple system we use to help thousands of authors, speakers, coaches and entrepreneurs to never have to go back to what this statement reflects in their own lives.
That simple statement is the answer to knowing that you must move forward. It is a ‘must’ out of both a sense of obligation to your purpose here on earth and a ‘must’ out of a sense of urgency.
What do you see at your obligation here while on this earth related to your calling? Each of us has a requirement to do something to help others solve specific problems that we have solved ourselves.
Each of us also has a responsibility to do it now. Right now.
Don’t let the dreaded disease of ‘over-thinking’ lead you down the slippery slope to procrastination. Remember: Procrastination is the ultimate form of paralysis leading directly into inactivity and confusion.
Many entrepreneurs in Vancouver said NO to a constant lack of clarity, over-thinking and confusion with their own entrepreneurial desires. They invested in themselves and in a system to show them how to make massive cash flow gains.
Watch the short video below—it includes snippets of my journey to the top of Whistler and across the world’s highest gondola. And most importantly join the thousands of entrepreneurs who’ve said, “I never want to do that again” referring to a lack of clarity, focus and over-thinking in their own entrepreneurial journey.
Glenn
P.S.
What does the ability to live your legacy TODAY feel like? Join me on this personal journey to the top of Whistler Mountain and then hang on we ride the highest and longest spanning gondola between two mountain peaks in the world.
“Breathtaking” is all I can say. Watch for yourself as we take this journey together—you and me!

Hi! Glen….I will pass and keep my feet on the ground. I have been on those rides before and I don’t like looking down.
I prefer ‘looking’ up and watching. I am waiting for my heavenly wings attached to my ‘glorified body’ to travel through space and the way the earthlings and events are turning, we may not have to wait too long. Your ‘point’ is higher than the highest mountain, we do while living have to climb the mountains, soar, set goals for improving our mind, soul and body. Please go to ‘You Tube’ and listen to 2 poems, “UNITE, UNITE” and “FORECLOSURE BLUES”, this has been set to music and working on UNITE. **Poems From The Heart**. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HV5nFhkMO5M
Thanks always for your uplift mentally and educationally-Pearl

Absolutely amazing Glenn, You must of had a great time. I love the peak metaphor. You and Joel B. should go skiing together sometime. I know he loves to hit the slopes too.

Glenn, it was great having you here on the west coast. The peak to peak was something! I’m not quite sure what sort of lunacy made me wear a suit that day (aka. Reed Floren) but it was a pleasure meeting you a little better on our Monday trip.
Your presentation was great and many are still buzzing about it.
Maybe we’ll see you out for “Canada Marketing Summit 2010 – The Olympic Edition” being held just weeks after the Winter Olympics wrap up here in Vancouver.
With appreciation,
Rob Toth

Hi Glenn,
What a great place, but it looks cold. Where’s your hat man?
Seriously, I just love watching what you’re about; your inspirational messages; sharing your adventures; and the way you’ve built this blog.
Stay cool, (but not too cool ~ how about a trip to Hawaii next time ;~)

Marzena…congratulations on investing in your future. The best journey is going to be the one that you are taking and it doesn’t involve skis and cold weather!

Stephen…
Thanks for the comment. Hawaii does sound great. My problem is finding time–our company has been growing at an unbelievable rate and it is all because of the success of our clients. Once I have this under control, I will entertain a trip to Hawaii!!!!

Hey Rob…
Great to finally meet you. I was fun to share the day with you.
Rob, my presentation was only good because I am passionate to help those who are in the same boat as I was. I remeber all too well how it felt following so many people yet had no clarity or focus. In fact, I didn’t know who to trust. That’s why I am so passionate when I speak: I want to save others the pain of spending years of trying to figure it out and in the end, more confused than ever!
I look forward to connecting, Rob!

Pearl:
I used to be the same. However, today I look down…it provides me the opportunity to see where I have been and celebrate the most intense journey I have ever taken. It’s the same journey that thousands of my clients are taking today.

Michael…what was I thinking?
However, I definitely wasn’t dressed to ski and was absolutely freezing when finally made it back!
