Business Coaching Training: One Simple Question Proves You Can Sell High Priced Programs.
NOTE: The following is a ‘Speed To Market’ experience.
I am going to prove to you once and for all that you that you can create and sell high priced programs.
In fact I am going to share with you an experience that you have had over and over again that proves my point.
How many times has someone invited you out for coffee to discuss a specific problem that he/she is experiencing?
So you meet this person (could be a friend, colleague, or an acquaintance) for coffee at Starbucks or a favourite establishment for both of you at a mutually agreed upon time.
No sooner are you sitting down, but he/she begins unloading on you with a problem that is perplexing him/her. You spend some quality time with this person drinking coffee, listening and offering advice. (Important Note: If you are a guy it takes about 30 minutes; if you are woman about 3 hours!)
What is important is that at the end of this conversation, your friend’s burden has been lifted.
The person who you helped thanks you profusely as you leave and head for your car.
NOTE: Now pay attention closely.
Because here comes the proof that you have it in you to create and sell high priced programs.
No sooner do you get back to your car when your cell phone begins to ring. And guess who it is? (That’s rhetorical, I hope you realize!)
It’s the person you just met for coffee who thanks you again for y our help and then asks the following question:
Are you ready? Take note of this…
The person says to you…
“Thanks again for your help today in helping me solve my problem. What do you think about ‘this’?”
Now take note…
‘This’ can refer to anything as it equates to the next problem that your friend wants solved. And here’s the cool thing. The ‘this’ that your friend also wants an answer to might not even been something that you know how to solve!
(NOTE: Please read the above paragraph again. And again. And again. Until you feel the power of the experience that you have had and haven’t realized until now!)
The fact is that your friend is now leaning on you according to the power of Zipf’s Law. Zipf’s Law states that your target market wants a tested, proven system and person to believe in and whoever solves their specific problem, they will lean on that person/company for life.
There you have it. Each of us has witnessed the power of Zipf’s Law. But few have leveraged its power as an entrepreneur.
Put an end to this right now.
(NOTE: Re-read the last sentence again. And again. And again.)
Isn’t it time you got paid what you are worth for your information?
Quit competing on price as this is where all the competition exists.
The only alternative to ‘price’ is ‘value’.
I have just proven to you that you bring lots of it to the market place.
To Selling High Priced Programs!
Glenn

Hi Carol:
Correction: I spend my early morning hours at Starbucks getting ready for my day. It’s my office away from my office!
(I have many offices!)
Our Entrepreneurial Authoring program is designed to help you build out your business backend while you are going through the authoring process. Writer’s block means two things: 1. You lack clarity; and 2. You are trying to author a book devoid of market feedback. (Q: What’s the best kind of feedback? A: Your market is investing in your business backend.)
Focus on your business backend and build clarity with the end in mind.
