Focus Your Marketing For Your Desired Result
Focused marketing is more powerful than unfocused marketing.
While I’m a huge fan of business systems, I’m not a huge fan of generic marketing. Why?
Because generic marketing is ineffective. I understand that marketing takes time.
You know you need to create a few different videos to market your high priced program.
While you’re thinking about it, it’s tempting to try and save some time. After all, it would take less time to create a general, all purpose video that you can use over and over, compared to creating 3 or 5 specific videos which are targeted by desired result or outcome.
We all make choices like this each day, but I would say that skimping on marketing is never a smart strategy. In the current economic conditions, the businesses which focus their efforts, target their customers most effectively, and speak directly to their audience will be the ones who thrive and prosper when everyone else is struggling.
This mindset needs to permeate every aspect of your marketing systems. You need to focus and target your marketing to bring you the results you want. If this means creating 10 articles instead of one, then this is what you must do. Remember, part of being successful in business is being willing to do the tough stuff- the things that would make most other people give up.
So when you’re looking for places to save time or effort, try to find them in other places besides your marketing.
The more targeted your marketing, the better results you’ll get. And your extra investment in a focused marketing message will always pay off.
