Have you ever given any thought to the words and messages you use to discuss your business and services?

The words you use are, literally, the conduit to your sales and marketing.

The words you use have power, and should be focused on moving your listeners to take some action.

I encourage all of you to become comfortable with "speaking copy" which means you clarify your message and focus it tightly to your audience. Your listener, reader, or visitor should know exactly what you do, how it can benefit them, and, importantly, what action you want them to take next.

Your copy should focus on the message you want to put out to your market. It should be quantifiable, and promoted in various formats, including text, audio, and video.

People need to hear important messages at least seven times before they take action. Your job is to keep promoting your message, consistently, and effectively so that you make more sales.

Remember that all buying decisions are made at an emotional level, so you must tell stories and use examples which capture your audience’s emotions.

You have to stand out, be noticed, and be memorable in order to get and keep your target market’s attention.
