Hi Glenn,
I have followed you for awhile. While I have purchased your book and have read your whitepapers, I still have not seen any growth financially or otherwise. I run networking events that focus on people targeting the people they need to meet to become more profitable in business and in life. I would like to develop a system to allow others to do the same in all 50 states and around the world. I will tune in tomorrow as best at I can (I do work a fulltime). If I can’t I hope you will record it so I can listen to it when I get home.

You prove my point that books and materials do not bring success.
The only way to experience success, is to commit to work with a mentor who can do 2 things: 1. Open up a new paradigm for you and 2. Help you execute within that paradigm.
People who are ‘interested’ in something buy DVDs, books et cetera.
People who are ‘committed’ to something invest in themselves.
The greater the investment, the faster you will move!

Glenn, I met you when you first started things and I have been watching you ever since. I do hope you remember me, we have had wine together and spoke on the phone a couple of times. I am currently trying to climb out of the hole that my mother’s battle with cancer has handed to me. I have the work ethic and ability that you seek, but of course, the money is lack. I am going to try to garner what I can from what you give to the world for free, but you are right, books and DVD’s do nothing. I have had 1 bestseller book and have 2 published but without help, the road is very difficult. I have attempted to get help, but workers are very hard to come by as many people complain about the economy but the real problem is their personal economy.
Glenn, my story is big and my experience is vast. I can promise that there is not many people out there that equal my passion for what I do. I am sure you hear this from a lot of people, but I have taken what life has dealt me and kept fighting. I await your blogs, as I know I cannot give my premature daughter the life I want to working on the hourly model.
Thanks for your time Glenn and to anyone who read this post. Sometimes it is just good to get things out. Please do NOT misunderstand this post as negative or a pity post. I am working as hard as I can to get to my goals. With 1/10 of assistance, the strides could be amazing. Anyone else in the boat of life’s work vs. work goals and had no option but to pick what life handed them due to illness or other dire circumstances. The passion is still there, but the hole from doing the life’s work still exists. Not complaining, it is reality and I will overcome it.

Your comments are greatly appreciated. I hope that you understand that your response is exactly what others and I are talking about. It is very hard to stay close to momentum sources. The VAST majority of people are not momentum. Thus, the reason for everyone talking about assistance and guidance. Plus you have the very real situation of “need money to make money” that everyone has to overcome. I can give people assistance and guidance. Momentum sources usually need cash to give some momentum away. Plus, the conversations can be quality at the time, but the person’s reality does not equal the talk.
These are the problems of getting out of the common and into the uncommon. Easily overcome, but not without work.
