It used to be that having a good idea was all you needed to make a lot of money online. Now, though, with all the competition, it’s important to move out of the realm of the “information data dump” and “information overload” (of which the Internet is one of the best examples), and instead, clarify for your clients exactly why they should choose you.

The way to do this is not to have just a good idea, but to position that idea properly, and in context. When you develop a proprietary system that solves your client’s very real problems, you can charge top dollar, because you can show results.

When you can show results, you are a “winner” in the game- and everyone likes to work with winners.

The goal is to move from your ideas to something you can teach others. The best way to begin? Use your own experiences and determine what you learned from them- what is the knowledge you gained from what you went through, and how could that help your clients?

Make sure, of course, that the “problem you solve” is big enough, real enough, and challenging enough that your clients will actually pay for your solutions.

What knowledge and wisdom do you have that solves a problem your clients have?
