Its the first my dad will see me do this.
And he gets to watch me live!
But first,
Whats the one thing that every son wants more than anything in life?
In fact, if a guy is honest with himself, he yearns for this in his heart more than anything else! Anything else!
Its to be recognized and approved by his father.
My dad today has become one of my biggest advocates.
He still doesn’t fully know what I do, but he is proud of me! And he tells me this often.
Listen, at the end of the day all each of us has is our integrity and the legacy that we live each day.
It means more than anything that my dad phoned me yesterday while I was travelling to Mall Of America in Minneapolis, Minnesota where I am speaking today. And this is what my dad told me:
(I can still remember it word for word as it was stated with such emotion from my dad.)
Glenn, I am proud of you. I finally have an opportunity to watch you speak. I love you son. If only your mom were alive today to see what has happened to you.
As much as I love hearing client testimonials that pour in each week on how my company has changed their situation, a call from my dad surpasses all of this.
