For those of you who followed our two month journey up Mount Everest, here is a picture of what happened on Friday, May 20, 2011 at approximately 10:30 PM EST.
Our company flag remains on top of Mount Everest thanks to my mountaineering friend, Dave Hill. Dave is the mystery man holding our flag.
He along with my other friend, Mike Hurry, who is the Executive Director of Big Brothers’ in Sarnia worked together to get our company flag safely to the Summit of Everest.
During this time I spent hours directing their progress making sure they didn’t lose our flag in the Khumba Ice Fields, the Lhotse Face, or the Hillary Step!
