The Costs of Being Stuck

I was speaking with an inner circle client last week and we were talking about being stuck.

This client has a great idea, and is steadily working on her positioning within her target market. She’s focused on educating them, selling them, and on creating unique positioning for herself and her company.

In short, she’s doing everything she needs to be doing to build momentum.

But, as sometimes happens, you’re going along really well, and then, all of a sudden, you get stuck.

High Quality is Good (But Perfectionism is Not)

When you hear me talking about the term “speed to market”, that’s exactly what I mean. “Speed to market” means you get your idea out of your head, and into the market as fast as you can. I know I’ve mentioned this recently but it is worth repeating again.

How many ideas do you have in a day? If you’re like most entrepreneurs, you have at least a couple hundred ideas each day. Now, of course, it’s not feasible that you could act on all of them each day. But if we say that out of the 200 hundred ideas you have, maybe 10 of them are good- and 5 of them are really, really good. How many of the really, really good ideas do you act on each day?
