And to get ready to reveal this in a few weeks, I want to share with you the fact that my company will be summiting Mount Everest.
How are we doing this? Who are we going with? Why are we doing this?

What I want to share with you is something that we are going to be leaving at the top of Mount Everest.

It shocks me, as I travel the world and have the opportunity to meet entrepreneurs globally, how many do not do anything to seriously impact their reference levels.
What do I mean by ‘reference levels’?
A reference level occurs when you ascend to some level of success in your personal or professional life and then quit growing beyond this level. The problem is that the longer you remain at this level the harder it is to move out of this ‘comfort zone’.
It’s very easy to do and it’s one of the problems that Geoff Colvin points out in his book, Talent Is Not Enough.
Let me know look at this concept of ‘reference levels’ from two different business coaching vantage points.
First of all, one of the most difficult problems that entrepreneurs face is the fact that they (and you!) over-think. Over thinking always leads to indecision. The insidiousness of indecision is that it prevents you from making quality decisions.
One of the factors that determines your entrepreneurial success is vested in the number of quality decisions you make every day.
My mantra with my clients in 2011 is ‘newer and faster’ conversations. Another way of looking at this is to view the concept of new conversations as new reference levels that you are ‘summiting’ to every day. These new reference levels are ways of constantly seeing anew of what is possible for you.
The second major problem that you are faced with when it comes to building new reference levels is the fact that you don’t have any system for rewiring your baseline reference points quickly and permanently. When you really think about it, you are ultimately a summary of the conversations you have with yourself in the quiet recesses of your mind—everyday!—about why you do not deserve success.
Rewriting this story requires a whole new reference level about what is possible for you.
As I stated above, my business coaching mantra with my clients is ‘newer and faster’ conversations.

Just got back from Brendon Buchard’s Experts Academy last week in San Jose and was very informative however not sure about the process of offering small products building up to higher paid coaching.
Is there a better process and opportunity? My biggest challenge and concern is how to shorten the time period of creating a real valuable business online for clients.
