Most entrepreneurs feel like they never have enough time. Between working with clients, sales, and marketing, it’s inevitable that something often falls through the cracks. There are strategies I suggest for my high level coaching clients to help them get more done each day. Let me share a few of these ideas here with you.

To start, ask yourself these three questions:

*Am I working efficiently each day?

*Am I focusing mainly on tasks and activities which will bring me income?

*Am I reaching my daily goals?

If the answer to any of these is no, or not really, you’ll benefit from the tips I’ll share next.

First, it’s important that you use technology to leverage yourself. Even if you work in a 1-person business, you can use voicemail or auto attendants to screen your calls. You can install an email spam filter and save some time sorting through your email each day. You can reduce the number of times you check email and voicemail each day. You can pre-write several core template emails, such as those inquiring about your business services so you can easily copy and paste these when you respond to inquiries.

Second, it’s important to focus on activities which are revenue generating. Spending hours deciding on a logo color might be important (I said *might*) but should never stand-in for the real work of business, which is marketing and sales. Similarly, you need to get really comfortable with the concept of speed to market, and stop taking so long to get your marketing going.

Third, it’s important to invest in office help (real life or virtual) as soon as you can. Get another set of hands on board to double your effectiveness. Get someone who is detail-oriented, and can work independently so you don’t have to spend all your time managing them.

Finally, focus on the most important business goals you have, and clear out all the excuses keeping you from them. It’s amazing how much more you naturally get done when you’re pursuing a goal that really inspires you.
