Tired of the Same Old Conversations?
I want to share a secret with you. One way I measure if I’m moving forward fast enough is by the conversations I have with myself.
Yes, I admit it- I have conversations with myself.These conversations sometimes occur when I’m driving to appointments, or even when I’m working out. It doesn’t matter where the conversations take place, but, instead, what these self-conversations are about.
You see, if you aren’t moving forward fast enough in your business, you tend to have the same kinds of conversations over and over again. You run yourself into a mental and conversational rut because you keep thinking, “I should get this done.” “I should get that done.” “This still needs to happen.”
If you are thinking the same way today as you were one month ago, it means you haven’t moved forward fast enough to make your business grow. When you are actively selling and marketing, the conversations change. You have new challenges to think about, you have new ideas to consider, and you have a sense of forward movement and making things happen.
Most people get stuck in their old conversations, and, even though they are tired of them, they don’t do enough to change them.
I want to challenge you to stop having the same conversations over and over. Sales and marketing are your twin tickets to business freedom.
