What’s Your Million Dollar Story?
You can’t sell anything to anybody unless you have credibility. And one of the fastest and easiest ways to demonstrate credibility, and gain trust, is to share your million dollar story. I call it your million dollar story because it has the potential to make you a lot of money.
But that’s not the only reason it’s called a million dollar story. The other reason for this term is that the million dollar story process helps you confidently sell what you know. You can have all the information in the world, but if you don’t have credibility and confidence, you won’t be able to sell anything.
Create More Value, Make More Money
Your million dollar story arises from your own life experience, combined with a process of understanding what special skills, strengths, and assets your life experience has provided you. Part of being able to sell any kind of high priced training is being able to give a step-by-step system which brings results.
We’ll talk more about systems a little bit later, but, for now, it’s most important that you understand the need to create instant credibility with your target audience, and to show them that you are the person who can bring them the results they desire.
Your million dollar story gives your target audience hope, and it gives you unshakeable confidence, because you can stand in the truth of your experience and your own understanding about them. This is something no one can ever take away from you, once you have it.

I am reading Dan Kennedy’s new book, “No B.S. Marketing to the Affluent.” And on page 10 he talks about how 270 of the 400 ultra-rich people in the world [with a net worth of at least $1 billion] made their fortunes from scratch, and another 56 made a large portion of their own money even though they inherited some wealth. Then on page 17 he goes on to talk about their mind set – and if you set out to sell them something, the story of your background and how you made yourself the expert, carries more weight and influence than anything else.
I think this correlates very well with this article on what is your million dollar story. Coming from no where to immense success by telling your story can be the greatest story ever told. Don’t you think so?
