NOTE: At the end of this post is a short business coaching training video where I reveal the trek I take to my office everyday. I haven’t found one person that has a daily commute like the one that I am fortunate enough to take.
Below are two pictures. (One of them represents the ‘busy’ highway that I take everyday on my way to Starbucks which is my virtual office—my office away from my office so to speak.)
The other picture represents the life I used to have in education…following the rat race every day.
The business coaching training reality check is this:
You have chosen to serve one of them whether you realize it or not.
One of them is the path of least resistance. The one that I traveled for many years. The one that mobs of people follow everyday. The one that ultimately stunts your growth, and puts you in the driver’s lane to ‘greater sameness’ and maximum risk financially.
The sad thing is that due to the voluminous amounts of bad advice online from so-called experts and gurus most people who want to grow a business online are doing something that is ultimately putting them in the driver’s seat to greater sameness as well.
The other is the road less traveled. It’s the road of the true adventure. It’s the road of entrepreneurship. It’s a road that is tied to this dichotomy: being close to the source of momentum can put you at great odds with just about everyone that you know.
However, it is a road that leads to freedom…the road less traveled!
I can personally testify that this road is worth it!

Hey Glenn,
I read your stuff with interest. I have a request/suggestion. With all the iPhones and iPads being used (I use an iPhone) wouldnt it make sense to provide your videos in codecs other than Flash? I don’t want to have to wait to get home to watch the vies you send:)
