As I write this business coaching blog post, I am reminded of the day I wrote my resignation letter to the Lambton District School Board, my former employer.

Of course I was ecstatic to be leaving my job as a Vice Principal, but there was also a part of me that was sad as I had given so much of myself to the students both academically and in the sports’ realm for 14 years.

Now, I am writing another ‘resignation letter’ but I am doing this as a blog post. And this ‘resignation post’ will enlighten you on where I am going in business.

For most of you who do not know my story, I was just like you—and not that long ago. In fact, I was probably worst of than you as I was a Vice Principal! (Never in my 14 year career did I ever have one student say they wanted to grow up and become a Vice Principal–imagine that!!!)

With a dream of launching an information business online, I could NEVER have guessed where my entrepreneurial adventure would take me over the past seven years: from coaching some of today’s mega-superstars online, to working with newbies who have no business experience to help them create 6 and 7 figure businesses, I have worked in over 120 industries.

I have had the privilege of speaking at many of today’s leading business conferences and universities around the globe. I have been recognized and honored by Corporate Fortune 500 Companies for my business authoring systems. A business partner and myself have been flown by companies to help them create their competitive advantage and their marketing systems—and they have paid me more money for these weekend sessions than I made in an entire year as an educator.

I created an accelerated system to author and sell Big Ticket, high priced programs and services—some of the biggest in the industry of coaching—within a year of leaving my job. Because of this, I have been called the ‘Donald Trump of Selling High Priced Programs’ from a former Trump Associate.

Those in the know have stated that I have more testimonials than any author on the planet, and for this reason I have many of today’s biggest names in business coming to me to help them build their coaching programs.

Through all of my adventures over the past years a few things have stood the test of time.

#1. I was born to teach. One of my ‘Speed To Market’ principles is, ‘The skill sets of making it in business and teaching others to be successful are completely separate.’ (This has been one of my competitive advantages in the market place!)

#2. And coaching is my passion and has been the best way to fulfill my calling.

You may have seen some of the hundreds of real life case studies of clients who have benefited from my coaching praising my offline and online business acceleration systems.

It is probably fair enough to say I know the industry of coaching probably better than just about anyone today.

So when I say that I am leaving the coaching business, I am leaving the business model that I have been working from and entering into a new arena of business acceleration.

I decided last fall after having my most successful year in business coaching that I was going to quit my existing model of coaching and move to a completely different model.

Some people would think that this is crazy for a young guy (I am 45! :+D) to quit such a lucrative model.

Here’s why I am leaving my existing business coaching model…

The most important reason is I want to play bigger and work with real people who are serious about accelerating their entrepreneurial skills.

I want to continue to attract today’s leading entrepreneurs and those who want to journey into entrepreneurship like I have with little to know business background BUT who are ready to challenge their assumptions about success and take focused, ‘Speed-to-Market’ action’.

My new direction will allow me to develop a new billion dollar business coaching training industry.

I am tired of working in the model that I have over the past 7 years to create one of the fastest growing coaching companies.

Why?

I simply can’t make enough difference in the world with the model that I have been working from—I have outgrown it!

That’s why I have invented a new business coaching model.

Tomorrow I introduce this new business coaching model—and in the process I will introduce you to a new billion dollar industry in the area of business coaching. This is going to be HUGE!
