From an Uzi carrying armed guard guarding me in Cozumel (picture below) to scaling Mount Everest in May (picture below of our company flag on Mount Everest) to helping my clients successfully pitch high level deals, to launching a new billion dollar industry in coaching, my company has reached new heights in 2011.

The following are some excerpts of my personal diary that I use to keep track of my business coaching momentum for 2011.

Before I share with you some of my business highlights for 2011, I want you to know that I am no one special.

In fact for 14 years while working in the public school system I struggled with dreaming about what I really wanted to do with my life.

As just stated, I spent the first 14 years out of university as an educator—eight years as a classroom teacher and six years as a vice principal.

Than something magical happened 8 years ago.

I made the most strategic decision of my life.

A decision that no one has ever made with the school board I was with.

Before I tell you what it was, I want you to know that at that time I had no money, I was about to embark on my PhD and I had a young family. What’s more, I became acutely aware that I had two boys who were watching me as their role model.

Eight years ago I said ‘YES’ to living life full out.

I said ‘YES’ to turning my passions, my talents and the pain of my past into a business of helping others go for their dreams.

I said ‘YES’ to leaving education and everything I was working towards at that which was becoming the youngest Superintendent and Director of Education.

And I said ‘YES’ to becoming the best role model to my kids that I could possibly become!

What I didn’t realize at the time was the opportunity that would become much greater than I ever realized!

At that time all I really knew is that I wanted to take my passion and expertise as an educator and help people author and publish their expertise. The system that I created caused ADOBE to contact me just over five weeks of launching my first website.

That was my first example of ‘Speed-to-Market and led to many other firsts in the industry of coaching and cash flow generation using nothing but my Intellectual Property (IP) and the Internet.

Perhaps you know aspects of my story during my first year in business.

If you don’t, what I am most excited about and what began to shape my future in business was the fact that I was involved in creating and selling some of the largest coaching deals in the industry of business coaching right out of the gate.

These and other successes got me quickly noticed by many people who wanted to know what and how I was able to execute so quickly.

That’s what started me on the journey of building what today is one of the fastest growing business coaching companies online.

However, as great as my successes have been online, some of my biggest gains in business were this past year—2011!

These include some of the following business coaching accomplishments:

I have assisted my clients in closing some large multimillion dollar deals. Many of these I can’t promote due to the ‘stealth’ relationship that my clients want me to have.

I’ve created a new billion dollar platform for quickly launching anyone with their own business coaching and consulting business–even for those beginning from scratch.

I’ve worked directly with some of my clients as case-studies for you to see so you could learn from them how to increase the efficiency of your sales’ cycles by from 25% to 5000%. I featured many of these clients from time-to-time on my blog.

I’ve been able to put our company on top of Mount Everest in May.

I’ve been able to travel extensively and speak at some really cool business venues.

In fact, while traveling in Cozumel I had my own body guard armed with an Uzi as you can see from the photo.

And the list goes on.

BUT the real area I am most grateful for is the fact that I have continued to be a strong role model for my two boys: ages 13 and 14.

As well, I have made my wife even happier! (which goes a long way in my books!)

Sure I could be even more successful, but at what price?

I have created a life style business that allows me to travel, help my boys go for their dreams in basketball and other areas of life, and I have given my wife her one desire—the ability to freely travel. (Besides being a GREAT husband! )
